Foster parent payments vary depending on the agency or local authority.
We provide a highly competitive fee structure, Our foster carers could receive up to £40,040 fostering allowance per year for a child completely tax-free. As a specialist parent and child foster care you could receive up to £49,660 per year. Carers can also receive additional weekly payments through our reward pathway scheme.
As a Foster Carer, you will also be eligible for generous additional tax relief, further details can be found on the HMRC website this could mean paying little or no tax.
You will also receive additional support in the way of:
- Birthday allowances
- School clothing support payment
- Parent & Child new placement support
- Child holiday support payment
- Generous additional Tax Relief (visit HMRC)
- Qualify for Working Tax Credits / Child Tax Credit (subject to household circumstances)
- 20 days paid respite ("in lieu" payment if not all taken*)
- Free Membership to "Foster Talk" (including discounts on services, products and some attractions, free Tax Advice, Free Legal Advice)
- A highly experienced team to support you. These include Social Workers, Therapists, Admin and experts in Placements and Education that will always be there to support you
- Social events throughout the year for all the family
- Support groups to meet up with other carers
- Managers and Director that always have time to listen
